    Here kitty Kitty?

Zoo asks visitors to donate small pets as food for predators

"A zoo in Denmark is asking people to donate small pets so that they can be used as food for its captive predators.
    In a
Facebook post, Aalborg Zoo said guinea pigs, rabbits and chickens form an important part of the diet of its predators, including the European lynx, which it said need whole prey, reminiscent of what they would naturally hunt in the wild."

Here Kitty Kitty is calling the lynx not your cat

"Do you want to donate your horse for feed?

Aalborg Zoo gratefully receives live horses, which we kill and slaughter for feed at Aalborg Zoo. Our needs vary throughout the year, and there may be a waiting list.
Before you consider contacting us regarding donation, the following conditions must be met:
You must state your name, address and phone number when the horse is registered
1 The horse must be a maximum of 147 cm in pole measurement
2 The horse must be in a safe condition for transport and not be in treatment for illness at least within the last 30 days
3 The horse must have a horse passport

The horse will be delivered alive to Aalborg Zoo, where the horse will be killed by a zookeeper and a veterinarian and then slaughtered.
Aalborg Zoo receives the horse as a donation, and as the owner of the horse, you can obtain an assessment deduction for the value of the horse. It only requires that you provide your civil registration number and/or CVR number when handing in the horse. The value of the horse is calculated at DKK 5 per kg.
If you do not wish to provide your CPR number in order to obtain a tax deduction, we are still happy to accept the horse.
We are also happy to receive chickens, rabbits and guinea pigs on weekdays between 10 am and 1 pm, however, max. four at a time. If you want to donate several animals at once, we ask you to contact us to make an appointment for delivery.

Many years ago when my job revolved around international submarine cables, I was in discussions with scientists about repurposing an out of service submarine cable we ?owned? from WA north in the Indian Ocean for precisely that reason - monitoring for earthquakes, etc.

Oddly enough, I think I recall one name - Dr Andrew Forbes of CSIRO Marine in Hobart. Jeez, it would have to have been 25 years ago.

Most people don't understand the difference, just as most people don't know that Android, YouTube, Chrome etc are all Google.
The biggest difference between Google and Apple is that Apple is mostly a hardware company. Sure, they build extraordinary software, but most of it comes bundled with a Mac, and updates are free. Yes, I know they have positioned themselves in the service industry, with things like iCloud, Apple TV, and Apple Pay. All of these are designed to get you into the ecosystem, which is then hard to leave. But the bulk of their revenue comes from hardware sales. Especially iPhone.
Google is an advertising company, pure and simple. Approximately 95% of their revenue comes from advertising and the strategies of getting your eyes on sponsors. Even Google search is designed to do this, and companies pay big money to have their products placed at the top of the page. Android is the same. You are tracked, your activities and browsing are monitored in order to present you with 'tailored ? ads. Some folks find this helpful. Others, like me, find it intrusive and sinister. I will never have an Android device. This is because Apple, while they no doubt track you, don't share the information. It is not brand loyalty, because that died with Steve Jobs if someone like Samsung made a phone that Apple allowed to run iOS I would look hard at it.
I posted a video on Lionel's thread that shows why I will never again use Windows. They are tarred with the same brush as Google. Apple is by no means perfect, and I really can't stand their current administration, but they are still better.

Linking was reviewed first Ian? Am I in it or is spreading it on farms fine?

After a run last night a gent at a pub told me a funny story about a gent turning right from the left hand lane of two lanes taking him out on his bike. Not that unusual saddly.

The driver insisting it was the bikes fault as he hadn't seen him was oddly usual as well.

Camping is fine and fun. Camping on someone's farm may be if permission is given.

Other trivia is who the people in the poo were

"travellers, with reports referring to the group as part of an ?illegal gypsy camp?.

The encampment included scores of caravans and vehicles, even a red Ferrari, parked on private agricultural land.

The group reportedly refused to leave despite polite requests and offered to manage water and electricity, which the farmers declined

    "

A few farmers I know wish a few 'Very special' people didn't help themselves to sheep, cattle and access here.
