pretty impressive when you what you can put a 4bie through
some of those shots looked vertical............
although i have heard if you take it slow down there it is pretty safe as there is quite alot of traction on that rock
still don't think i would go down there as a passenger let alone a driver.. 8O

Any shots of the "hill" looking back up? Looks like a challenge to the Moab footage.

As an x-Jeeper, I used to hover around the Michigan jeep forum, and they had some people posting regarding the lions back. Apparantly the usual way is down, and is not that tricky in dry weather in low range, as you get traction off all the rubber laid down on the smooth rock. However, this is apparantly impossible to do in the wet.
The jeepers seem to think that going up as the ultimate challenge, and in one interesting post, a guy told how he got his unlocked jeep with two wheels spinning in the air near the top, and could not get over the obstacle for fear of going too fast and bumping himself off the side. Not brave enough to reverse down, he apparantly did a 3 (or maybe 30) point turn on the top to face back down. This manouvre took him over 30 minutes. He said he would never go up there again... LOL
One of the reporters for LROI did an article on it. He went over and joined up with a Land Rover enthusiast who had be up it more than 30 times. Matt
