    C shaped trim 'cover' for raw steel edge

    Does anybody have the proper name for the flexible C section steel and rubber stuff that covers rough steel edges - probably 10 or 15mm deep.

    I have searched on trim + edge etc etc, so there must be a trade name for this stuff.

    I've cut/altered the hole in my winch bar (with a grinder) to fit a different winch, and I have raw edges that need covering, so it needs to slide over 2 or 3mm thickness steel.

    If you know where to get it, even better.

    I've got a roll of it but it is only rubber, not rubber and steel. It could be called grommetting material.

    You should be able to find it at a good auto parts place. I picked some up a couple of years ago from a local parts place to use on a roof console/shelf. Fitted over 2mm aluminium without any problems.

    Pinch weld

    I've used this stuff on consoles and door pockets, but got it from the wreckers as there's metres of the stuff on most cars around door openings etc
