    Singapore to London

An 87-year-old man who made history by driving overland from London to Singapore 63 years ago will be doing it all over again in August. This time, Tim Slessor and his six team members will be making the journey in the opposite direction - from Singapore to London. They hope to complete their return journey in 100 days.

There is a guy in the Rover Car Club Qld who with his wife & 3 kids drove from the UK to Australia ina 1960 SWB Land Rover which they had owned since 1973, towing a caravan. The owner still owns the LR & is in the process of restoring it at the moment. I asked him the other day if he was planning to do the trip in reverse after he finished the restoration & his answer was NO. Some of the places they travelled through you wouldn't survive today & would probably get killed.
