YES, & the fact he has not given a selling price will be well over my budget also but no A/C or P/S & not auto so wife would not go in it . If had A/C it wiold need to be able to cool down to 16 deg.
we had a guy in in Rover Club who had one with A/C driven by a Briggs & Stratton 2 stroke motor mounted under the back seat.

I'm bettign it will be very in-expensive simply because there is no demand .... Sadly no-one want them. If you want an old with decent A/C american cars are probably the only place to look.

You are rite but there are some rediculsa prices being asked for Rover P4 & P5's at the moment. They are mor expensive than S1's. If they have rust at bottom of pillars they are beyond it. When I was restoring my P3 a few years ago it only needed a rust repair in the boot floor & engine overhaul, nwe pistons were $200 each from JP Pistons . I did all the work my self then got a quote for $8,000 to do the trim . So could not justify spending that sort of money for a vehicle Iwould use half a dozen times a year so sold . I was lucky that I got what I had spent on it . Trouble is people think they can get back what they have spent including labour but unless it is a rare vehicle loke a GT HO it is not going to happen.
