Saw it on TV and said to my wife "Hope they all OK and It will take more than that to kill a Defender". Good to see the Landy Club are helping as we knew they would.

    Good luck

Hi all. I have bren a member here for a while and have had advice several times. The footage of tge car falking into the hole in indonesia was my 1996 defender. My wife, myself and our 18month old boy are 7 months into a 3 tear overland expedition from australia to london. We were all fine as we managed to get out in time but the xar is pretty banged up. The local LR community is helpung us with repairs which look like they will take 4-6 weeks. Once they are complete we will continue to kalumantan/borneo then back to sumatra and on to mainland malaysia, thailand etc. This isnt going to stop us, just slow us down a bit. If you would like to see updates on the repairs or on our travels you can find us on facebook @rulesoftheroadsus or instagram @rules_ofthe_road.
    Cheers
    Michael

Glad to hear you're all okay and repairs are possible. Must have been a scary experience for you.
