Only RRs and Discos are allowed in the RROC.

They even had a discussion recently whether the RR Sport was an acceptable vehicle. It is.

So a Disco is to RR, as a Fender is to Disco?

Still and uppity lot in my books!

i was told the sport was allowed in, just after i had been told that commonality of parts was important for long distance touring, can not wait to fit a super charged beast into my 90.

    Hey there muddymech

    Ron's right.

My wife Jenny and I only recently joined the LROC Sydney Branch 4 months ago after purchasing our latest ride, a '00 110 Td5. Like any club, you can't just sit there and hope that you'll be accepted. You need to get involved. Given that, we've really found that the members of this club are deeply committed to the Land Rover marque, are very knowledgeable and are great fun out in the bush and at meetings. They aren't a club dominated by one model or another, and there are pretty good numbers representing RR's, Disco's, Defenders and Series vehicles. Ages are mixed too - but like any Land Rover club, there are a lot of older members - some of which have been in the club from the 60's when it was formed. It's actually the oldest 4WD club in Sydney. That's what you call experience! I couldn't recommend this club highly enough. We are very glad we are members, and have already made great friends who we also see socially outside the club.

Trips are on most weekends, and long touring trips are catered for as well. The trip calendar is already set until the end of the year, so it is very well organised ahead of time.

Come along to a meeting and say g'day!

Yeah muddymech the Sydney branch of the land rover owners club is the best club in NSW for Land Rover owners. You would be silly to look past it. They are very active and plan club outings from basic social outings to the tuff trip events once a month. Jump on the website that ron posted above and have look. Matt
