    Don't forget the (Sydney) TLCC Swap Meet on 10th June 2006

    Venue:
    Deepwater Motor Boat Club Ltd
    Webster Street
    MILPERRA

    Starts at 6:30am so be early to get hold of the bargains. There's often lots of good stuff there.

    Yep, I bought an Engel fridge (Jap), Yokohama tyres (Jap), Pioneer stereo (Jap), etc.

    Don't worry, Ace, there are quite a few Landy owners and sellers there as well as some of the commercial LR spares supplies.

    Been there many times over many years, Garth (redfender) on this site also Ron (P38rover), had his County many years ago for sale, I've had a couple of sites over time selling excess camping gear etc.

    Infact one year there was an old guy with a car trailer decked out with heaps of series Landie parts etc.

    A mate bought a pair of ralle 2000 lights for $80 & still has them.

    This is probably the best place I've been to to pick up a 4x4/camping bargain ever, I hope it hasn't changed since the Bass Hill Drive in days?

    One year I bought all the checker plate on my Defender of a guy for $25 including the whole back inside door & shelf I made

    Sure there is Jap stuff but mostley lots of campng gear, chains saws, recovery gear, tyres etc etc

    Are you sure it's the 10th of June..... ????

    I was talking with Peter Dequant yesterday & he said it was on the 18th of June.


    I've just checked the TLCC site:

    They have it down as the 18th.



    I can't make it on the 10th but I can make it on the 18th.

    Is it still pricey for lookers ?
    Most swaps are $2-$3 but I think this one is/was around $10 or so just to have a look .
