Hey All,
What a couple of days, not being able to post or read anything
, I think my staff will be happier now that Im not on there back the whole time
. All these things that happened over the last couple of days and nobody to tell ( well I have dont want to sound like a loser or anything
) Firstly on Tuesday I got my 3 minutes of fame by getting onto JJJ in the afternoon. Have tried before to no avail, it was on the internet, socialising relationships etc and in my case I met my partner on the internet 4.5 yrs ago and have a 3 yr old, so that was deemed good enough to get on and have a chat. I could have told them about some of my other experiences some hubba hubba, others well...............yikes
.
Then yesterday pulled up next to a new RRS, looked over gave a nod and a slight wave, lights turned green, the D3 V8 roared to life, took off like a bullet, turned over my shoulder to see how much ass whoopin I was giving or was going to get, and there he was miles behind. Geez if ya aint going to take it off road at the very least give it a burl on the road
.
Then today was coming down an inside lane to turn into the servo and this idiot in a Hilux decides thats a good time to pull out in front of me. Jammed on the breaks, heard the crunching sound of the ABS and 2.7 tonne of D3 came to a halt from at least 70km/hr, boy was I bloody impressed. Im not talking a breaking distance of 20 metres or anything, Im talking literally 5-10 metres.
Well now that I have got that off my chest since it has been building over the last couple days, I can go and enjoy another cold brew. Am taking the patient out tomorrow night as she feels up to it, and have convinced her to see MI3 he he he
. Would have prefered going to Boonah for some camping and offroad action but that time is coming again soon enough. havagreatweekend,
Regards
Stevo

I read the post and found it interesting it's just I didn't have anything to say about it. I should made the effort
Think about what it was like without aulro for three days and then think about me with my Defender off the road for 3 months and the engine is still out and it needs to go over the pits. You become very self absorbed.

Okay Stevo,
It was a bit strange without AULRO for the few days. Kept clicking and kept getting the same old maintenance message.
On the traffic light dragging thing. Very occassionally (when I feel the need to prove this of course) I like to give the cars and other 4bees a run for their money so I pull up on the clear inside lane, left foot on brake, right foot just lifting the revs, lights go green and bingo I blow them all away. Wow, the fix for the day - D3 drags all off at the lights
. Stuff the fuel economy. Don't do very often as I haven't had the chance to line up a RRS yet
.
Chris
