Thread: Met a fellow AULROian today

Hi Guys
Had a surprise meet this arvo with Mick,a WA member.(I hope Ive got the name right )
I finished work early and went into the local rural supplies to get a bottle of gas for my homebrew.Mick spotted BlackBetty and parked up his B double fuel tanker and came and introduced himself,blew me away a bit I must admit.
Turns out he is friends with Black Bettys previous owner.
Hoping we get a trip arranged which match with his shifts.
I now know how Ian,a BlackStump member felt when I spotted him in Esperance.He came on an outing a couple of years ago,back when I had my SER3 van,I recognised his vehicle,and followed him till he parked up.I parked next to him,walked up and said something like "Hi Ian,I would know that Landy anywhere" It took him quite buy surprise.
The world is a small place.
