    Thanks DC.
I can't ever remember cutting masonry.
More so timbers and sometimes steel.

All these discos are giving me a heart attack!

Well I've gradually got the shed set up for my hobbies.

If I move the cars outside, most of the larger woodworking machinery is along the back wall of the shed.
Inside the enclosed end of the shed, I cast various hybrid wood / resin blanks using a combination of vacuum and pressure vessels for different processes. These are used for making pens, handles, jewellery / gift boxes and whatever else I can think of at the time.

And in the other end of the enclosed part of the shed, I have a metal working area set up.

Where I make tool rests for lathes, the odd steel dice and various other bits & pieces.

But most of the time in the shed, I am turning bowls and platters, pens etc.

A couple of bowls turned from locally sourced Coolgardie Blackbutt recently, and another from Salmon Gum from the firewood pile.

Some of the pens I have turned recently, and one of my pen boxes - this one was a wedding present and made from local Sandalwood.
And of course - the essential shed accessory :

Made more progress on the smoker.
I think I'll name it "Pig Iron".

Built the cook trays, and knocked up a latch mechanism for the firebox door.

Got some Tassie Oak dowel for the handles to prevent burnt fingies during those all day BBQ and Beer benders.

I've been working with the devil's material - Timber. Sanding down this piece of Pilliga Ironbark which will be oiled and will be a chopping board / bench for the smoker.

The bottom section will be covered in decking planks- also Ironbark.

I'm not one to work the wood, if you know what I'm sayin'... but I think this will end up looking not too bad.

Quiet one in the shed for me today.
The new Kat was more popular than Suzuki imagined so accessories are coming in slowly.

Fitted up the Frame Sliders, Offset Bobbins and the decals today.

Really enjoying my Dynamoto stands too.

I’ve been making a waste oil burner. This will be dual fuel either waste oil or firewood.

Nice oil burner. How do they actually work? just fill the cup then light?

Finished the smoker over the weekend. Gave it the first burn, then threw some chicken and a lamb shoulder in there for good measure. Lamb was a 6.5hr cook, chould have been longer, but by that stage of the night it was 8pm, and I was itching for a feed.

Managed to get a smoke ring

That BCC bus, in the first picture, seems a little off route.
