Just a quick story about their Australia Day Gig 06.

If you never been to check out the Rads play, GO AND SEE them play. You can not play music for almost 30 years and not be excellent at it! But then again, I could be a bit bias, as my uncle is one of the original members.

what was the nasty call for? because you gave her back???
nothing like striking while the iron is hot, what a tool. waiting 3 months before having a dummy spit, to make sure that you are really made and not going to take it anymore, well at least not for another 3 months

I don't mind the rads to be honest, got a couple of there albums in my CD collection. A bit before my time, but good music is hard to find with all the over-promoted, mainsteream MTV crap we get from yank-land!!!

I never seen them live, but I like mosty rock bands anyway.

I saw them live in my younger days at the old Hordern Pavillion, hmmm would have been around 16 maybe 17 mixing bacardi and coke in my mouth at the same time, ahhhh those were the days. I actually came across an old tape of theirs recently in my stuff and popped it one for a listen ( had to find a tape player first). Good to hear the ol signature tune ,

Not too many bands could claim to have played over 365 gigs in one year.

And I believe that one of their songs nocked Micheal Jackson's "Thriller" from it's number one spot on the aussie rock charts of the day. Might have only been for 2 weeks but still, I don't think any other aussie bands could lay claim to that.

I saw them play for the first time when I was 16. My dad had to come with me, to talk the bouncers into letting an under-aged kid into the night club (why we didn't sneek in the back door with the band, I don't know).

I'm now 33 and just resently got to take my 3 boys to see a gig in Atherton. Turned one of my kids into a fanatical drummer.

Gimmee Head, The Fess Song, Coming Home, I Wish That I was 17, Summer Holiday, classic Oz Rock and played at every party I went to when I was a drunken sex god 20 years ago. Hang on, I'm still a drunken sex god.!!
