A simple search of YouTube would have found footage of the track involved and asking about the track conditions before the family have had a chance to formally lay thier children at rest I find insulting. You did get one thing corect...”I guess that reminds me of the old saying, opinions are like arseholes, everyone has one”.

I think you are being just a little bit precious, but, you are entitled to that opinion.

Go take a sedative, you lot.

What did happen to the couple? Did they die of a motor vehicle incident? Was it murder-suicide? Was it double murder? Not seen anything on the news up here.
As a generic post its OK but I think it was unnecessary to link the article of this tragic event.

This has got bit OTFT I think.

I didn't notice anything offensive in the first post either but sort of assumed that part had not downloaded, me still using Win XP Pro. That would be most unusual, but also thought others had spotted something that I hadn't.

    Not so it seems.

In anyone's eyes it is still a tragic event & apparently reliable sources are confirming this.

    Thanks, it answered my question.

I just got some 1's and 0's from a source I trust about 70% of the time.. (he exaggerates and sometimes his research isn't vetted up although it does seem to match whats in the papers/online versions thereof)

    it seems...

they were on a track that is typically closed over the winter/spring season.
the vehicle slipped tail first and then rolled down coming to a rest cab first up against a full stop class tree.
Driver inexperience/overconfidence may have played a part
the vehicle was not prepared for the type of track it was on (guessing on my part is this means poorly loaded/wrong tyres/wrong pressure)

we can only hope that the fatalities were swift an concurrent.

Sorry if I offended any one, but I do think a couple of posts were unnecessary. And over the top . However , you get that. A bit more thought before I posted would have been better. It's easy to take the high moral ground when you are not face to face.

How sad on this forum. In one week, one month or one year this post will be forgotten.
Thank God it isn't Facebook or , with their yearly "Memories", you could all get upset again.

What post? I blame it all [ well most] on Guinness brewed in Dublin, which I shared with an Irish lad who lived up the road some years ago. They went back to Ireland, he joined the Irish Army, and spent time peacekeeping for the UN in Africa. Had some stories to tell. A lot harder man than a couple I've had to deal with lately. LG.

Bloody hell, just found the ABC image of the crashed vehicle. I hope the visible front tyre condition wasn't the cause of their deaths. Can't see the other front tyre in that image.

Rollovers certainly make a right old mess.
