Are you calling Gav an old farmer?

Cripes Ian, now you have me worried. Gav.hasnt replied so perhaps I have taken liberties

I know he milked cows as a youth, and has a tractor, to wit MF165,and lives in rural Mexico , has an antiquated caravan, but his DOB ,I do not know. So to Gav. my boy, sorry.

I think Ian is about the closest. 😁

Grew up in a Rural Dairying community, Qualified as a Sparky before my 21st Birthday and did that and a few other things for some time, was better than having cows **** on me twice a day. Then up at Licola for several years and somehow ended up in Melbourne. Said we’d be there for a couple of years and 20 years later still here, but working hard to get back to the Country. Got off the tools around 10 years ago but my job now is highly technical and I’d like to think I’m still at the top of my game - my work still seem to think so, which is always nice.

The In-laws have 40 acres which I go play on when I can, and hopefully will end up there at some time permanently. Plenty of room to stretch the 165’s legs and have some fun and at some point I’ll spruce up the old TEA20 that’s there too. 👍

Hogarthede - no offence take at all, and I’ve been too busy today to log on much. Maybe if I’d have grown up in a broad acre area growing grain, I may have ended up Farming, but Farming animals isn’t for me. I like cows, but the tie to the farm is never something I could have dealt with and Sheep are dumb and annoy me... 😆

And a fair way the wrong side of 30 although I’m not old by any stretch. 👍
If you need to contact me please email homestarrunnerau@gmail.com - thanks - Gav.
