Hi just to let you know that Brendon has settled in Japan just fine, he has been there since the end of August. He is in Kochi, which is an island off Japan. He has set up is unit. He likes teaching at his schools he goes to. Made many new friends on the JET program that is in the same area. We don't know when he is going to come back, he is talking about staying 2 to 3 years. Still miss him though.
I hope that he has a raincoat...

He will get some rain and wind but where the typhoon is heading to Tokyo. He is on an island down from Osaka and it opposite Hiroshima it the big island that lying there.
He is use to typhoon weather as lived there in 2016 when he was at uni there. But yes I still do worry
That's great. Hope it goes well. He is on the way to becoming an international person, which will be great.
We have a nephew aged late 30s who has been living overseas working in various countries teaching English since he graduated from university. He loves the variety, has moved countries several times and seems in no hurry to come back.
Living internationally gives so many experiences that you are changed forever.
Maybe if we all could think internationally there wouldn't be so many problems with nationalism and countries trying to bully each other.
