    Son settled in Japan

Hi just to let you know that Brendon has settled in Japan just fine, he has been there since the end of August. He is in Kochi, which is an island off Japan. He has set up is unit. He likes teaching at his schools he goes to. Made many new friends on the JET program that is in the same area. We don't know when he is going to come back, he is talking about staying 2 to 3 years. Still miss him though.

That's great. Hope it goes well. He is on the way to becoming an international person, which will be great.
We have a nephew aged late 30s who has been living overseas working in various countries teaching English since he graduated from university. He loves the variety, has moved countries several times and seems in no hurry to come back.
Living internationally gives so many experiences that you are changed forever.
Maybe if we all could think internationally there wouldn't be so many problems with nationalism and countries trying to bully each other.
