I wasn't going there. One of my best mates is a long suffering Demon. He cries at the memories he has of the Geelong road... But I wouldn't have picked you for one. He doesn't have a sarcastic bone in his body....

Beat up by the Herald Sun - according to ASADA the drug was always banned, even if it wasn’t on the list - the list which the HS is referring to is apparently not determinative, just a reference tool.

Got any refs?? Links? EVERYTHING that was involved in this could be called a "reference tool". Do you have FACTS? They are what have been lacking all the way through this sorry saga.

This will always be, from now until forever, a beat up for people to bash Essendon, when who they should be bashing would be the AFL and Julia.

Once again, I hate Essendon. I do, however, like truth. None of that to see here, sadly.

    Guardian article:

Asada defends its handling of Essendon supplements saga after new claims made | Sport | The Guardian

Refer to the bit about WADA designating the drug as illegal from 2010.

Perhaps I should have qualified. Got any RELIABLE links? Anyone who trusts the Guardian needs to take a good hard look at themselves.. Whoops, sorry, I didn't mean any offence of any kind, honest,....

Sorry, but The Guardian has no authority, no journalists, it is a hotbed of garbage reporting ( it cannot be called journalism ), but then I guess CNN might work for you as well. Maybe expand your horizons.

The Guardian can be explored over at CA. That's where tripe belongs.

The Guardian is quoting ASADA. And you are being offensive.

Honestly couldn’t care less about Aussie Rules, but the Hun article does not look to be very accurate.

Offensive? Because I consider The Guardian to be gutter press? Strange. Are you aware that this goes back around 8 years, and the "Hun article" is a continuing thread? And what would you expect ASADA to say? They are going down as well, and so they should.

For the record, I don't trust the "Hun" as you call it much more than I trust the "Guardian".

This saga has ben covered by every media stream you can name. Which would you prefer? All of them were fed a line of BS by the AFL and the Office of the Prime Minister. Keep watching. And learn to broaden your horizons, as The Guardian is a rag. If that seems offensive then deal with it.

I'll add: If you don't care, why involve yourself? People who DO care might just shoot you down.

Thus say all non professional sportsmen.

So, Tom, If you were say 18, and a club was offering you say $500,000 over three years, and you were some dumb **** from the Western District,. and they said "hey, we're just going to give you a jab", would you have said no?

And now, when the "supplement" has been shown to be legal at the time it was administered, and your promising career, which might have turned into $1,000,00 over two years is over before it began because the jab wasn't ok, would you be ****ed off? When it turns out that the jab was ok after all?

I'm not sure I would be so sanguine as you.

It’s your tone and aggression that are offensive.

Regardless of your opinion of the Guardian they were just quoting ASADA - same as The Age has and a dozen other media outlets. I could’ve linked to any of the other outlets and they’d’ve reported the same thing.
