Evacuating with a baby. your emergency kit

Many of our citizens have been forced to evacuate homes because of fires lately, And, like most ex Darwin residents, we keep a cyclone kit handy during the storm season. However, it's obvious it would be prudent to keep a emergency kit handy at all times. One thing that surprised me was that evacuation centres are not set up to look after new Mothers or their babies. Not suggesting the senior members of AULRO would have that problem, none the less this is an important addition to think about.

I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

It’s concerning how few people are prepared.

Even an event as simple as SAs precious 4 day black out created such angst for people. No refrigerated goods, no deliveries (fuel couldn’t be pumped at many places).

The economy alone is now JIT - so you need to be prepared for the types of emergency that can happen in your region for sure.
