    That's the benefit of a system which is government regulated to benefit the public. Look at the USA for an example of what happens when profits are put before people.

    In Harden, Montana, in 2011 I had a chest infection and went to the Big Horn County Community Hospital. Consultation US$280, course of antibiotic capsules and bottle of cough mixture US$84. Doctor discussed the OZ system and said USA needs one similar. Doc. was dumbfounded when I told her the same treatment in Oz would have cost me AU$11.20 for the two prescriptions. She has patients who can't afford insurance, can't afford repeat visits, can't afford to fill prescriptions.
