I live in Geraldton WA and pretty much every day it blows its guts out here.

This is what the prevailing winds do to the trees in my area.

One could say, a lot of hot air around your way.
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

Pretty windy today - and another fire started up this morning upwind from us. Actually, I think it is the same as last one flared up, but with a new name. Awfully close to it anyway. Supposed to be "being controlled" an hour ago, and I see no smoke now. It is fairly cool, just below thirty.

Very windy tonight in Maleny, but we don't care because we're so excited that it is also raining.
Tomorrow the forecast is high winds and stinking hot. Back to normal. Anyone else noticed how windy it is lately !!

Nah Mate, All the "Hot Air" seems to be emanating out of the Brisbane area lately.
We get heaps of wind and temps in summer that hover between the high 30's and low to mid 40's every summer here But we don't make a song and dance over it like they do over East, Maybe you's mob need to harden the **** up a bit

Yeah, but what if it doesn't? Will we need to declare a wind emergency.

    Too Much Wind !

Has been so windy here in Hobart for weeks. First week of Summer and we are expecting snow to 500 metres.

World Fly Fishing Championships are being held here this week. An absolute disaster when we were hoping to show the world what we have to offer the

international trout fisherman. Hard to cast a fly in a hurricane.
