Steady drizzle overnight in Maleny and a thick fog, which made coming down the mountain early this morning towing the camper more interesting than usual. BOM is predicting up to 30mm today.
Is that some roadside green out there? Is it better than it was last year when we went through? Sure hope so for the sake of the locals.Quote:

Been raining steadily here all day and there are plenty of clouds heading south, so I hope they reach you.
13mm is what we ended up with.

Also rain is heavy enough to go through shade sail into the pool.Attachment 157784 I made the mistake to pump water out of the pool when we last had rain a couple of weeks ago because BOM said we were going to get a heap of rain but forgot I had the pump on & pumped too much out.
Depending on the cyclone they say is forming over in WA we should get some more rain here in Qld in the next week or so. :BigThumb:
The grass around the pool is artificial that is why it is green but the rest of our real grass , what is left of it is getting there.

BOM says Maleny has had 41mm since 9am yesterday. It was only showing 10 last night, so most of that was overnight.
The local platypuses would be loving it.
Last year we were 615mm below average so we have a lot to catch up.
Hope it rolls right down through the fire areas and breaks the drought everywhere.
