Nothing here for the second consecutive day, despite warnings for severe storms and hail for each day. Same forcast for tomorrow.

We had 20mm yesterday that makes it 21mm since Christmas when I bought a new rain gauge.

had a slushy wet day out at the North Brisbane Junior Motorcycle Club race day on saturday as a flag marshall.
they battled on after a thunderstorm and ensuing rain periods and tried very hard to maintain the track , but it got the better of them about 2000hrs
it was amazing to see how keen the riders were to race in what can only be described as slushy conditions.
Jack Miller was there competing, he is brilliant rider , not just motogp.
on several occasions I had to run out through 100-150mm of slushy mud to assist a fallen rider , just threw my socks in the bin later and scrubbed the shoes this morning.
Should get some in the dam from this.
