Have to agree. Waiting for predicted " rain events " lately was a waste of time. Having said that , it's not an exact science, and better than nothing.Quote:

Thunderstorm has just about finished, but still raining. I will check the gauge in the morning, but Dubbo has had 8.4mm so far. Apart from the bunch of vehicles next door, on roads in the forest to my west there have been bogged in the last few days two fire trucks, an excavator, a bulldozer, two police vehicles, and a trailer that I know of. My normal road to town is impassable, and I am not sure we really need any more rain right now!
