I see by news this morning SE Qld is about to get a lot of rain & flooding this weekend starting Friday , from the looks of the sky today a lot will need to change between now & tomorrow. We will see how accurate the BOM prediction is . Hope they are at least half correct , I've got three empty tanks to fill & brown grass that no amount of sprinkling seams to make any difference.
The Qld forecast map. Sunday Brisbane should get a good drop.

Trout's not in the Kimberly.
Definitely not in the Kimberly.
I am nearly 2000K's SW from Broome or about the same distance from Adelaide to Brisbane So whatever the weather is like in the Kimberly it is very different in the Geraldton region unfortunately.
Coinciding with the start of the "Wet" season in the Kimberly/Pilbara is the start of the hot dry season here.
Yes we do get a few thunderstorms generated by the tropical lows and cyclones that form in the top end of WA But 99.99% of these rain events happen inland of here and it is quite rare that we get any decent summer rain on the coastal strip where we live.
We did get a brief shower early this morning that is if you can call .5mm a shower But hey I am not complaining and I will take whatever rain is offered gratefully this time of year[biggrin][thumbsupbig]
My mistake. I see what you mean.
