Took a drive up to Jimna the other day, to Peach trees camping area. Haven't been there for years, changed a bit. There is a suspension bridge across the creek, and the flood debris from the recent rains is about 4 metres up in the trees. There is evidence of a very big flood over the area, the whole camping area would have been well under water. But the country is so green, a big change from a year or two ago. And the pies in Kilcoy are still the best in QLD!.

EDIT. Only a handful of kangaroos seen, hope they missed the flood.

hasn't bloody stopped really , 25 last night.

Bom reckons plenty more to come, storms/rain/wind....La Nina prescence to remain throughout february.

28day rain forecast indicates rain possibility every day.

fllood warnings for local rivers being up dated this afternoon

My friends in the Williams Cattle Company in South Australia (7 large properties) are absolutely loving it....RAAF have started food drops into the few local towns.....food doesn't seem to last long. I saw some photos of Arkaringa Ck in flood below the painted desert. I can never ever get to see these events as I cannot travel into the areas until all roads are open.

Cooroy Hospital evacuated after a wild storm . Flood warnings for the Bulloo, lower Flinders , Cloncurry, Nicholson, Gregory, Leichardt, Paroo, Thompson , Barcoo, Diamantina , and lower Warrego Rivers and Cooper Creek. Just about all of western Qld, they haven't had this much rain in ages.

Wild storms force evacuation of 31 from hospital, more rain puts state on flood watch (inqld.com.au)

A large weather system has just moved off the South Island and is now hitting the lower North Island. Since Wednesday, this system has been active over Westland on the South Island.

    Some rainfall numbers since Wednesday.

its a real pity my produce wont grow as readily as the weeds.

my butternuts are spreading everywhere but the fruit is rotting before it really establishes.....the weeds are growing beautifully amongst the punkins.

the limetree loves the weather and I'm about to give away hundreds , and the cucumbers are also giveaways at the moment.

but seems no one wants the ****ing weeds......showers every few hours

my wife has been mowing copiously and I told her I love her a little mower every day.
