The ones parking in disabled parking or the ones ****ed about it[bigrolf]. I fall on the latter side after being unable to buy food a few time a year and a bit ago.
Happily chopped up my disabled parking permit before it had expired. That was a chucked as it had a clear warning about altering or defacing it. [bigrolf] The VIPs who think they are more important show their views. The F B group just shares it a little more widely. Any one near by can see they are. I am a ****** who readily tells them they are politely at first[bigrolf]
First fine, warm, relatively calm day in a while and had the washing line full and house windows open airing the place out.
Damn stupid hick somewhere in the close vicinity starts a rubbish fire... :soapbox::bat:
...and then there are the dopey buggers who cannot stay on their side of the road when passing a parked car. If there is no opposing traffic then no problems but I see it on our street all the time. Normal width street. Centre line painted down the street. There are usually a multitude of parked cars at one end due to the proximity to a large school. I drive a 110 and have no problems staying on my lane when driving past parked cars. Why do idiots think it is OK to drive into my lane when I am coming towards them just because they cannot drive past the parked car on their side of the street? Idiots! Gave one the benefit of the air horn and a smile when driving past them today when they got irate at me for not stopping to allow for their lack of driving ability.

Our streets are very narrow. Barely enough room for two cars to pass each other. The drama occurs when there is a car parked on the road. Now it's up to the car whose path is obstructed by the parked car to give way to oncoming cars but oh no....not any more. At the last minute they pull out to go around the parked car and the approaching car, who has right of way, has to brake hard to avoid a head on. Who are these self entitled arrogant people? Can't tell you...I don't recognise them.....they are part of the city people who have invaded the place. [bigsad]
That reminds me of another issue these days. I travel narrow rural gravel roads and many have very narrow hill sections where cars need to pull over to let opposing traffic past. In our (NZ) road rules under responsible driving it states "On steep, narrow roads, it is easier for vehicles moving downhill to give way to vehicles moving uphill."
Do you think people still know (as was the case back when I was taught to drive) and recognise this is still the case today? Nuh! Sheesh!! :2up:
This was always the golden rule which every one knew about when off road back in the day but nowadays these younger [than me] don't seem to know/understand why it is so.
It was often mentioned in the various 4x4 mags of the day so it became common knowledge but these days I don't see it mentioned.
