Certainly not me James. A **** is useful. Sometimes.[bigrolf]
EDIT.
You actually had a gun? Did you stand in front of the Ward Room Mirror practicing draws & spinning the chamber & actioning the hammer like mate Clint?

BTW in 1993 I flew from Cairns to Doomadgee with a 308 & .22 Hornet in gun bags propped up against the window of the plane where I was sitting.
Try that today!

I was with my Father many years ago,he had just purchased a new Vostok 12 guage from a gunshop in Brisbane City.
The gun was in two pieces,he had the barrel, while i held the butt.
They were wrapped in plain brown coloured paper.
We wandered into the Comm bank with these,i cant remember why, probably to get some cash out.
No questions asked in those days.
Anyway, with quite a few other weapons they all ended up getting destroyed in the by back, thanks little Johnny.[bigsad][bigsad][biggrin]
Hi,
School cadets (1960s) used to take weapons home on the bus.
Cheers
We usually had sling shots in our school bags, and a few balls out of bearings we got out of the bins at the local garage.[bighmmm][biggrin]
In the 1950s, as members of the highschool military rifle club, once a month me and my brother each took a 303 home on the bus, on Friday, Saturday right across Sydney by public transport to Long Bay range, and back, then to school on Monday. At least the OIC took all the rifle bolts home and to the range with himself.
