Why, you may ask? Let me explain.
Every night I count & sort money. This money has often, even usually, been folded, rolled into a tube, folded into a little square, crunched down a bra (& occasionally nickers) & mistreated in ways the Mint never imagined.
Now, every night I have to try to put this money into an ATM & for it to go into the ATM it has to be flat.
Plastic money which has suffered the above abuse will just NOT go back to flat without being weighted for several hours!
It's like a bloody spring!! You can flatten it, crease it the other way, hit it with a hammer & it will still just spring back into whatever misshapen form it began with.
Silly bloody idea, plastic money, & it's hard to count quickly as well.
Now I have that off my chest I will,
Go back to counting & trying to flatten bloody money.[bigsad]
