Truckies of my generation called caravanners "terrorists" as a play on "tourists". We used to reckon first frosts in Vic. & S.A. used to bring them out of their summer dens and head north to the warmth of Queensland clogging the highways in the process. Dead right about them speeding up in overtaking zones then back to 80-85 k's where it was impossible to overtake them.Quote:

Back in my day truckies wern,t called truckies just truck drivers , who were becuase of the under powered slow trucks were the ones holding up all the traffic , but the so called Bickie Dippers , Mobile road blocks , Wobblys :thumbsup: , etc etc etc did not not complain about being held up like the current mob of so called truck steerers . :thumbsdown: .Quote:
