    Hello All,

Well after my last visit to the doctor I am going to check out a new medical practice. Even if it is one that does not bulk bill. Apparently you get what you pay for. I know the cause is a virus. Where in my case the most hostile symptom is someone coming around and reaming my throat out with a wire brush. Then perhaps when I request something to reduce the symptoms so I can actually sleep at night there might be a prescription only level medication that might actually be more effective than something on shelf at a supermarket.

You know something along this train of thought ... Lionel, even you know the best way to allow the body to recover is to allow someone to be able to sleep so their body can restore itself. Therefore, as a doctor I will find something that will be more effective at reducing your symptoms so you can at least get good sleep at night. Then your body will be in its best condition to fight back. Because I am a medically trained professional I know that when it has on medical records that this bloke is on the Autism spectrum, and has a high pain threshold .. so if this bloke is saying his throat is really - really sore then it must be really really bad. Also that if Difflam Plus Anaesthetic Sore Throat Spray only lasts for five minutes, then I had better go online and find some prescription only stuff that might actually work for longer than five minutes. That might allow him to get some sleep at night. As a doctor I will not just shrug and ask if there is anything else that the patient wants... apart from a competent doctor that is! Oh this is the same doctor that referred me to the magic potion selling dietician. I have zero respect for this doctor.

The only thing that allowed me to get a good night sleep last night was my reverting to the old trick of crushing up a paracetamol tablet mixing it with honey and lemon juice. Then coating my throat with the mix a sip at time and retaining it as long as possible before swallowing. Then taking another sip and repeat until the brew was gone.

New clinic and a new doctor booked for next Monday. Sigh

    Kind regards
    Lionel

That is a priceless double entendre.

Here's another technicality: The sea wall aruondb the Opera House is unique to the Opera House so could be regarded as part of the Whole.

    Park Run poo!

My fun little park run habit gave me a bag of poo today. 5k run around a local park. The Dog came with me on a lead. I have a running belt for phone and car key. Dog did it! A poo at 1km mark. Pulled up to bag it up and all the even slower than me went past

Bag of ****, Dog and I ran the 5km. At the end I had no car key! I ran back to the **** spot. No Key. I ran the whole 5km again. No key. I have a bag of ****!

That really is a bag of poo

Police who did not have the key handed to them tonight suggest my car could get stolen using that key that someone has picked up! POO?

Not really as the car will be handed over for a new one Monday I think
