Lets hope Swire put some big money into them. The Co. I was with in another life serviced their Freezer Vans & a bigger motley heaps of old **** systems you never did see. Mind you, that was probably 50 years (half a century ago) so they probably have invested heavily in new up to date equipment by now.

Yes in QLD you can drive 500k - as long as you are not entering a Discrete Community!

To enter (or re-enter) an Aboriginal Community you must have a Pass that has been approved by the Council, Police & some Covid-19 mob in Brisbane. Doesn't matter that you are a resident.
The Council knocked me back. They will have a hard time getting after hours fuel from now on![smilebigeye]
We can travel to the boarder of the Burke Shire (surrounds Doomadgee Shire) but once you cross that you need the Pass to get back in.
And, yes, there are police stopping all travellers to check.
Even on the back roads which the police are only patrolling I know my luck I would get stopped.
There are several locals, nurses & teachers doing 14 days at the Burke & Wills Roadhouse because they thought "She will be right."

My boss has instructed me "If you leave Doomadgee you better bloody well be able to get back in."
So here I am & here I stay!
For the foreseeable future anyway.
