One of my ex-staff spent a lot and I mean a lot of time surfing the net while supposed to be doing what I paid her for. Her Technical superiority involved using Private Browsing so she hid what web sites she was looking at and what she was doing. I first got her to write my IT policy for non work use of my IT equipment. Three drafts later I fixed it and everyone signed it. She then spent even more time doing stuff she now clearly knew she should not do or at times she should be doing what she was paid for. She lodged a claim at Fair Work against me- That was a shock. That Fair Work suggested I pay her a big bonus to go away was more of a shock. I told them to go away as well[biggrin]
Google apparently did something similar to me. I was and am allowed to control and restrict traffic on my networks. Google was not? I wonder if anyone looked at things they were not supposed to? [biggrin][biggrin][biggrin]
Google has been sued in the US over claims it illegally invades the privacy of users by tracking people even when they are browsing in "private mode".The class action wants at least $5bn (£4bn) from Google and owner Alphabet.

Now, we all know that women and men are geared up to sometimes instinctively behave differently.
My question is, 'Do females have a different "Spatial Awareness" to males. Several times I have noticed that a vehicle has not entered a traffic flow, even though there has been enough space for a semi to get going. 90% of the time it's a female driver. I'm not talking 'I reckon I'll make that' tactics, either.
For example, the turn off to my road, off a 2 lane, 100 kph rural road, is a cross road with no turn lanes. The other day, when I got about 300 metres away from the intersection, a car stopped, wanting to exit my road. As there was no oncoming traffic, I indicated early and gave a little flash of the headlights to let them pull out. I had three or four vehicles behind me and didn't want to risk having to stop for oncoming traffic with them behind me. I proceeded to slow down even further but the car still sat there. When I was about 100 metres away, oncoming traffic appeared. I then had to try and keep as close to the centreline as possible to allow the vehicles behind to get around me. As I turned around the stationary car, which had stuck it's nose out a bit, creating a tight turn, I noticed it was a female driver. Even my wife commented on the lack of 'Situation Awareness' shown. A lot more pleasantly than I did, I might add.
Hi,
Even worse if DWA.
(Driving Whilst Asian)
Cheers
A few years ago I was passenger and my wife was driving. She had stopped at the lights on Archerfield/Ipswich Rd. intersection in the RH lane with her RH blinker flashing. One the opposite side was a Toyota Corolla with an Asian driver in the LH lane with his LH blinker flashing. I said to the cook to wait until he moved as he was probably going to turn right across her bows. She told me I was mad as he had his left blinker and in the LH lane. Guess what. To her total surprise the guy did turn right. "How did you know he would do that?" "Easy, I work out here and see dozens of the buggers driving every day." It was worse if they didn't use a b;inker as you did not then have a clue which way they were going to go.
Not being sexist here I hope, but yes we have also found that phenomenon & it is all Asian women that seem to be the culprits. Asian blokes? Hardly ever.
Maybe it is all that Tea they drink?[bighmmm]

Ah, the olde too hard basket stuff.
In the Jones Family it is SWMBO who is the better "Town/Traffic" driver.
For the past 32 years 95% of my driving has been long distance country or remote driving.
I don't like driving in large towns (Mt Isa) or cities (cairns etc). I do not feel comfortable with it & find it stressful.
That's not to say I'm bad at it, just don't like it.
SWMBO has spent 8 of those 32 years living in or near towns. She is far more confidant & reads the traffic better than I do.
But if we are both going to say Mt Isa she regularly says "You drive." Womens logic/
