I went to the practice in person today to make the booking. Only had to stand in line for 20 minutes. The receptionist apologised for the phone system, and said they have no control over it.

It makes one wonder who, or perhaps what, has, JD?

How Long a Wait for a Tradesman to Reply?

Two days ago, I sent e-mails and text messages to several, local sparkies, requesting assistance, as our house air-con is under performing. No replies, as yet.

Am I being impatient or unrealistic?

We had a painter come and give a quote, about three months ago, which we accepted. He stated that he would commence within three weeks. Haven't heard boo from him since.

On a side note. I have been waiting over three years for one, or more, of the local fencing contractors to get back to me about a couple of new fences. One of them at least came to inspect the areas, but has never quoted.

Should I be starting to get some sort of 'Pariah Complex'?

Sparky for an a/c, surely you need a fridgie?

Maybe you have B. O. and don't know?

I think tradies have so much work, that they can pick and choose, so anything too difficult, too much travel time, etc, goes on the back burner.

I think his reputation has gone before him.

I'm thinking it's electrical. Also, our local sparkies advertise their aircon, repair expertise.

Sorry I can't make it to your place for dinner. I've got to see a man about a dog.
    Cheers, Billy.

Got my yearly appointment with my GP tomorrow. Its basically to get a form thing I have to carry around with my Drivers Licence to say I am OK to drive. I also have a rare blood disease but they cant do anything about it.
Thing is the Doctors Clinic is in the conference room at the Council Office and they made the appointment months ago so no phone calls needed.
