I know Road rules do not really apply when walking. I tend to keep left. Just walked into a shopping center and had a pram, shopping trolly, several kids an one gent spread across a walkway walking towards me spread out from left to right with a majority being on my right or their left.

The one gent walked straight at me. I stopped rather than step out into the crowd move past me. The Gent said 'Excuse me' I said sure. I'll happily wait here.

The bucket full of bile was heard for a fair while from the gent as he finally took a step to the left away from the wall I was up against

A while ago in a shopping aisle I came across a woman, her shopping trolley and child completely blocking my path, they didn't notice or acknowledge my presence, I was so cross that instead of my usual apologetic sorry or excuse me I said, "Do you mind?".

Well done to you ND, as hopefully you will have taught his kids a life lesson that he has obviously neglected.

What gets me is the group of usually females that decides to have a mothers meeting right in the middle of the main walkway in a shopping center.
Not off to one side,right in the middle, so people struggle to get pass.

I have met and dined with ND, there was nothing pretentious or arrogant about him. The world could do with more like him.

I loathe being in most shopping centres. I do struggle to maintain the standard of decorum which was expected of me, by my elders.
My wife seems to have a sixth sense on when things are wearing a bit thin with me and ably assumes the 'Elder' role.
