Our mail has gone from being delivered every day to every second day.
Not that it really worries us,as we get bugga all these days.

Except the occasional photo of the car, with SWMBO at the wheel.

As for the paper,i sometimes get it on the weekend from the shops, usually the Australian, the others seem to be full of trash.

On that, my nephew's former SWMBO had serious gut issues, diverticulitis, IBS, whatever. Always crook a bit. Bloat etc too. Spent three months in Vietnam and came home. Her Doctors could not believe it. She was cured. The diet there is so clean and unprocessed. Needles to say she has learned to eat clean and simple.

They must have had someone new on the labelling machine at one of my regular Woolies this weekend as they stuck the special price label on the milk description so I found the full cream milk I bought was actually lactose free and unhomogenised which I find too sweet and fatty. They also used the label to stick the openings of the plastic bag of cheese rolls to the body which tore when I tried to open it so I had to reseal it with tape!

Wow! I went into town and put diesel in the D3. Luckily for me, the fuel gauge was on half.

229.9 cents per litre! When I asked about the sudden jump, from around 180 cents, the young employee just ruefully smiled and handed me a Caltex, feedback card. The poor girl is probably getting hammered, through no fault of her own.

I thought I read somewhere that the 'Toothless Tiger', a.k.a. ACCC, was going to monitor price gouging?

    Dreamt it, perhaps?

Couple of cheaper mobs near me have queues reminiscent of the '70s. Better stock up on toilet paper.

I got a jerrican of diesel for the tractor in town on Tuesday a t $2.09/l. I should have had mire jerricans with me. Same place is now $2.20. Several service stations seem to be out of diesel now. Fortunately the County is nearly full. But I should have topped it up as well.

Last week our local was 1.79 now its up over 2.00 but still on the same fuel as the tanker hasnt come yet. I have a bulk tank and a 200 drum both half full so hoping that will do. I dont go out much any more.
