As does normal diesel.
Additives are usually measured and injected into the fuel at the terminal, whilst loading. E10, ULP, PULP 95 and PULP 98 are all dispensed from different arms and tanks at most modern terminals. Some old, remote terminals require the driver to add octane booster, manually, to ULP to make PULP 95. PULP 98 is not available in these areas.
Diesel is diesel when being loaded. It doesn't change until it is retailed. [bigwhistle]
Yeah, makes sense it is done automatically these days :) My info might be a bit dated... So you reckon that the fuel and ethanol is even separate? ie bio-ethanol gets added when filling up the tanker truck? Not sure about that though down here since there are only two brands who have 0% bio-ethanol (premium) fuels down here. I should think that the other brands would like to do the same but simply can't since the base fuel is already pre-mixed...
Ah well, as long as I can buy ethanol free I'm a happy man!
Cheers,
