Yes that's the one, got my eye on a 1980 GSX1100E also, it's in Maffra.

The GSX has plenty of grunt but they vibrate terribly.

Les is not the Tosser I met as another bike shop, my bad. Bike looked pretty good for 40 years old and a few boys would have a nice long look as it is a bit more old school than the current ones.

Well I picked it up Saturday, what crappy hot day Saturday was(and Friday) got home 11.30pm after the Aircon compressor let go, had to get the NRMA to tow me home.

Anyway looked it over yesterday, not a lot to do really and of course I'll check out things like the clutch, give it a full service, oils filters and other fluids, throttle and clutch cables, left hand mirror is cactus the plastic backing is cracked and it flaps about they aren't original anyway so I'll replace both, might get a new seat cover that looks like the original factory one, $60 from Wemoto bloody bargain, apart from that only other things to do is maybe repaint a few things, that we happen as I go no real rush to do that.
I could easily get it registered tomorrow(club plates) it's basically ready to go

Any pics? My brother is into the older Cb900f2's might be able to assist with bits if needed, he has a couple in bits.
