Thread: Defender storage in Alice Springs

Calling all Alice Springs locals or others with knowledge of the area.

My partner is a school teacher, and our daughter is also in school - so we holiday in 2 week blocks out of the Latrobe Valley in Victoria.

We currently have a 130 stored in Cairns, and are planning a trip from there to Lawn Hill and on to Alice Springs where we hope to store the car for a few months (we'll fly home to Victoria) before we can return, complete a trip around Uluru, Kings Canyon, West Macdonnell ranges etc. and then head south.

So I'm interested in hearing from any Alice Springs's based members who might be in a position to baby sit our 130 (fees payable, or use agreement), or any local knowledge on commercial storage operators in the area. Our preference is for storage undercover, but not essential. A power source for a trickle charge also useful - or ability to set up foldout solar panel.

At this stage, I expect we'd need it stored from July to Sept.

No worries, yes they are really down to earth and honest operators . Wouldn't hesitate to do business with them again!!
