    Done, thanks Ray.

It's a typical Government Survey. It would appear that it's to do with a 'Multi-Location Permit', similar to Sth. Australia's 'Desert Pass', however, the question 'Would you be willing to pay more for a permit to upgrade facilities' doesn't state what type of permit that is for.

If answering 'Yes', on the premise of it being for a 'Multi Permit', the answer could still be used by the Government to increase 'Single Use' permit costs.

This idea has been bandied around for quite some time by various folk I knock around with, more so in the form of an 'Islands Permit' i.e. Straddie, Moreton, Bribie, Fraser with Cooloola thrown in.

I didn't say it was a well thought out survey.

The grubberment can do all the surveys they like, will still just do what ever they want, not necessarily what the public want.
Should have included more areas for further input or at least at the end a section to include "what would like to see happen".

Vehicle Access Permits Qld - Survey

Might have miss understood this however is not the permit at least in part supposed to regulate the number of people who can use an area. Thus reducing overcrowding and degradation of the location through over tourism? If you have one permit for everything how is this going to be managed? Will they then need to set another system up so those with the multi site permit can gain access to the individual location?

Yep SEQ is too populated to have one beach permit covering all.

An example Mal.....For teewah I think they need to limited the amount of short term beach permit (targeting weekend use). I.e. 25 daily permits and 50 weekend permits which means 100 short term permits for any one weekend.

Camping is capped but driving permit isn’t.

It is for vehicle access only and doesn't involve camping. If you want to camp then that's another permit, which could/should be used for crowd control.

What they're tossing up is that people who access some places multiple times a year can do so without having to have several permits.

I do camp at Bribie but not on Moreton or Fraser and won't on Straddie (when I get there), however I do need a vehicle permit for these places and a multi permit would suit.
