That is fair enough, If the drone pilot hasn't the decency to ask permission BEFORE flying over private property they deserve to loose their drone.

Can you feed the local eagles to encourage them to hang around?

Don't **** around with Eagles Mick, get on to the local Pterodactyl Nursery. That'll sort them out.

    Anything with a 6m wingspan & a 2m body ain't going to mess about with a Drone.

I would think that having a chat with whoever is flying the drone would be the most civilised and easiest option, If that doesn't work then by all means fire away with the bird shot

A mate has one. He has a collection of artillery and small weapons. The cannon all had to be disabled to get a collector's permit for them. Then when he acquired the 40mm he found it is classed as a machine gun and even though the gun is disabled he had to attend an automatic weapons course to be licensed to own it. We have been plotting for a few years to make a breech block for a British 6" Howitzer so it can fire a blank on New Year's Eve. Some very intricate machining would be involved.
