My profile name came from a project car that i was doing up.It was a Triumph Dolomite Sprint which had its 4 cylinder motor taken out and a rover V8 put in.:burnrubber:SPrint -ROVER:D Thought it was smart at the time:bangin:.Sold it to my brother who has just about finished it.All that is needed is for it to be wired up.If there is anyone out there who is good at wiring up a 3.9 injected motor.Im sure he would compensate you for it:twobeers:
Cheers
Chris
I have been known as Dungie for about 16 years, since my niece was first starting to talk. It appears that Dungie was easier to say than Dale? And the new name has stuck.
Roughly how far away are you from Glen Waverley? It would have to be trailored there.
Will check with my brother on that Rovercare and see what he reckons.
Cheers
Chris
Hi matey, just so you know, I charge $30/hour and will see a rover V8 running in a couple of hours, then its up to your brother how far he'd like to go with it, how neat a job, tidying the original loom, stuff like that
Make sure he has the full loom and relay setup from the 3.9 and its a relatively easy job, as the loom only interfaces through a few plugs;)
Back in my Scouting days and when in "Rovers" as the leader I was RoverOne on the old 18 ch CB when in convoy to a weekend away camping etc and it stuck, it was also my call sign when you had to have a licence to have a CB radio.
Dances with trees goes a long way back, mainly because the fool things, trees that is, tend to jump out in front of me every time I am off road.
My competition disko trashed a rear 1/4 panel on a tree, and once I got it fixed she decided to roll and when she stopped was leaning against the same 1/4 panel. I gave up motocross because of the sill trees. When i moved on to Mountain Bike Racing, you guessed it, more trees.
I now have a 90, heavily armored, but every time out...
Why do trees want to dance with me?:D:D:D
