Yes, really hoping there is not an explosion of positive cases over the weekend. Victorians have already suffered too much.

Yes because they housed a person with 4 negative tests next to a Covid positive individual - why were they housing Covids next to non Covids.

Considering that thousands of Victorians "Bolted" interstate just prior to the lockdown to escape it I would call SA's border closure a Good call.

Are these “bolters” running away from it, or running away with it. If the latter, then the spread could now be out of control.
At least the vaccination hesitators might be prompted to get off the fence.

We have 4 new cases, and they are linked to original group after 47,000 test done yesterday. And now every one is rushing to get there vaccine 17,000 yesterday. And now people are saying that they can't get through on the phone to book. If they did it last month there wouldn't been a problem, as most of the vaccine place had very low numbers of people going in. Mario and I have had our first jab about 3 weeks ago and no side affect from it, just a bit of sore arm where they jab us.

Apparently he had been multi tested along the way & was "clean". So someone slipped up.

That's why Qld moves positive cases to hospitals which have infection control wards with negative pressure ventilation so when the door is opened the air rushes in, not out.
Howard Springs quarantine camp has units with individual ventilation, plus people can sit outside on verandahs for fresh air.
Hotels are for tourists, not infectious people.
