Victorian officials have also raised the alarm after two cases in that state were found to have visited NSW venues earlier this month. NSW Health said those infected people visited:

• Murray Downs golf club, on July 4 and 5
• Cook @ Kurnell on July 5, for lunch
• Highfield, Caringbah on July 5 for dinner
• Merimbula RSL on July 6, for dinner
• The Waterfront Café Merimbula on July 7, for breakfast

So - the person from Queensland and the person from NSW aren’t selfish, even though they’d also been in Melbourne and got fined for lying about that. Because, apparently, it’s only Victorians who are selfish.

Or is it that when you do something naughty you’re a Victorian, regardless of where you actually come from? Is that why they were talking about 6 selfish Victorians? Can I expect to see a rash of reports from Queensland about Victorians robbing banks, even when they’re from Toowoomba?

When will the Queenslander revert to being a Queenslander? Will the NSW person revert too or are all NSW people deemed to be Victorians? Will that only be during the pandemic?

Don’t you think that this vilification of people on the basis of supposed residence is getting a bit out of hand and increasingly stupid?

Oh, and FYI, I’ve now had two coronavirus tests in a fortnight. One to confirm that my sniffle was just that - it was - and the other because I’m about to have surgery and it’s now a requirement.

And I now have to isolate at home, so I let my wife know that she needed to sleep in the spare room for the rest of this week.

850 people turned back from the border since July 10. The media has a different story each deadline it seems. Now they say it was six Victorians, I don't think it matters where they came from, the fact they tried it on, after being in a Melbourne hot spot, beggars belief. A millenial thing? [ Is that what they're called? hard to keep up with the buzzwords nowadays.]
