When WA was in lockdown I had to travel between the regional borders enforced for work and checking the animals on the farm
I based myself in Perth and when I crossed the “border” I didn’t come into contact with any other person physically
I spoke to neighbours on the phone
I brought all supplies needed
Just to make sure if I did catch Corona, I didn’t transfer it to a rural community

Now I hear about the scum mentioned above getting a warning and put into quarantine in SA for 2 weeks
They should have got 2 years quarantine at Pentridge

The authorities need to make an example out of dim wits like this
If they keep this soft attitude the country is definitely not out of the woods yet
Might as well be in America (at least some of the population don’t believe that corona virus exists (if I can’t see it I don’t believe it)), life goes on

Totally agree with your comments, they were enough to set it off in SA.

Being homeless it may put a roof over their head for a while too.

Kia ora Sashadidi. Grew up on the other side of the Raukumara. Spent a few years contract fencing and working on the farms around Te Araroa. Surfed up and down the coast between contracts. Tolaga Bay is a sweet little spot.

Yep, Aussies are no different to anyone else really, an interesting amalgam of odds and sods. Like anywhere else in the world, patriotism can be at healthy and respectful levels in the many but to the point of malignant parochialism to toxic levels in a few. Some are likeable rogues, others sound/act like they still have the rough end of the ponga stuck somewhere.
