Geez, Rick, cut us celebs some slack will ya! I've just arrived home from lunch at my local pub and am now self isolating in my cave.
It's not all beer and skittles, mate!

There are quite a few exemptions to hotel quarantine, all laid out here, although they do not change the requirement for self isolation. Diplomats being one of the exempt categories, diplomatic status doesn't usually apply to the embassy staff who are not accredited diplomats though (even if they are travelling on a diplomatic passport)

Dickey beach was named after the SS Dickey, which ran aground in 18-0-something. The club has been open in a restricted capacity for some time , they have a great nipper program, and it is friendly relaxing atmosphere to enjoy a cleansing ale. The SS Dickey;

From an article in WIRED;
All vaccinations rely on the same principle , the intentional infection of a healthy person with a weakened pathogen to bequeath immunity. It is called variolation because variola was the virus responsible for smallpox. In a variolation, a doctor transferred smallpox pustules from a sick person to a healthy one because for reasons not understood at the time, a variolated person developed a mild case of small pox while gaining life long immunity. Dimsdale used this technique on the Empress of Russia, Catherine the great. 28 years after that, Jenner discovered he could use a safer sister virus of variola called cowpox, but it was the original variolation, not Jenner's cowpox, that first established the efficacy of the idea upon which all vaccines rely: the intentional infection of a healthy person with a weakened pathogen to bequeath immunity.
Perhaps the greatest idea in the history of medicine, variolation, which led to immunisation, according to early documentation ,began in China.
The very helpful part of us being in no immediate need for vaccinations like the UK, Europe US, Indai and Indonesia are. We can wait for another few months to see all the results and also the distribution issues.
A smart Dr Norman Swan suggested that to day.
Noticed you omitted two other vaccine possiblies. The Russian version is a bit questionable still. Sino vax has a way to go as do all the three you listed.
The Chinese one news "Sinovac said in a separate statement that it would be able to manufacture 300 million vaccine doses annually and aims to complete construction of a second production facility by the end of 2020 to increase annual COVID-19 vaccine production capacity to 600 million doses."Sinovac secures $515m to double vaccine-production capacity | China | Al Jazeera
Hope several work and have proof they are safe myself. Dr Swan also mentioned the studies checking all the vaccines give reasonable assurance of risk over 100,000 odd people. Given by the time we see vaccinations here in March 2021 it is highly likely data will exist on side effects over more than 1,000,000 vaccinations likely given in the UK, America, China and Russia by then. We are in a happy place that see it highly likely we are a lot safer than the poms and others lining up as they need to right now.

As a result of Australia generally following public health advice to a greater extent than these other countries.
Let's start at the beginning I guess. Thank you for your well found post, I would like to point out the the WHO has become a convenient whipping post for those on the fringes of informed society, and while they have made some mistakes, especially early in the Pandemic, they have not lost their credibility. [ In Trump and his supporters eyes perhaps they have, however Trump has been exposed more and more as a complete fraud, and his supporters for the main part, have been conned] Here is an article you must have missed, not your fault of course, but I'm here to rectify that.
POINTS
- World Health Organization officials on Friday warned that recent data suggest that, though it is rare, people who were once infected with the coronavirus could be infected again.
- The WHO’s Dr. Mike Ryan said that emerging data suggests “protection may not be lifelong” after someone’s infected with Covid-19.
- Maria Van Kerkhove, head of the WHO’s emerging diseases and zoonosis unit, said ongoing research indicates an immune response may last for six months or longer.

As for Africa, it must be galling for the USA and Europe to know the Governments of poor underdeveloped African Nations have handled the Pandemic better than they have. At least in the case of the USA, they have an excuse of sorts , the Trump administration. Europe however have no such excuse. The fact that this has happened because of the experience that these poor African Nations have had in their fight against Aids and Ebola is unfortunate, but it set them up for a better outcome against COVID. Comparing the poorer Nations of Africa against the Republic of South Africa is not an accurate template.
In short, no, I don't think WHO has lost it's credibility , nor do I think it was any accident of age demographic that allowed Africa to do so well in this pandemic. Cheers.
