I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

We wish them all the best. Our health depends on them.

The state's chief medical officer said until a patient zero is found, they can not be sure they are gaining ground on the spread.

"My anxiety is that we haven't found the direct transmission route," said Chief Health Officer Kerry Chant on Thursday.

She said without that, authorities can not be sure they have "locked every transmission line".
Two different situations NSW has been dealing with two completely separate transmission situations over the past week, Dr Chant explained.

Because procreation favours the stupid, so survival of the fittest becomes survival of the foolest. TLDR; we keep breeding better fools.

Reminds me of the film "Idiocracy".

I think you may have a point. There is another train of thought. That Fools are not bred, but created . If so, then it has become obvious that ' social ' media is the petri dish where these beings are cultured.

    Another thought on Hotel quarantine.

Esterman points to recent changes to Victoria's hotel quarantine system, where all staff working in the program are employed or directly contracted by COVID-19 Quarantine Victoria (CQV), with the exception of cleaning staff who are on secure, fixed term contracts with Alfred Health.
"So the workers in the hotel quarantine system, whether they're cleaners or cooks or security guards, are either employed by the Victorian Government, or if they're private, they can only do that one job in that one location, and they're all tested daily," he says.
"Now, why on earth don't we have the same system in every state and territory?

As NSW grapples with the Northern Beaches cluster, experts call for more changes to hotel quarantine - ABC News

    100%

I've had many long discussions on this topic with a very switched on Psychologist, we are the creations of our environment, particularly between the ages of 0 and 4.

Some are more curious than others, this drives a lot of knowledge, but for the most part people are creations of their upbringing.
Abour the only think that is hard wired into your personality is where you fall on the introversion/extroversion spectrum, and even then we can modify our natural inclination, introverts can learn to socialise, extroverts can learn to stop and be by themselves.

[QUOTE=rick130;3050348]It's looking like every state has had the same policy, Vic is now following NSW and making aircrew quarantine in designated hotels.[/QUOT

The real danger to Aus now is int'l arrivals, which is why I think air crews should be among the 1st to get the vaccination, and maybe even start a no jab, no fly into Aus policy for crews.
