I went to a xmas lunch at the buffet at Melbourne Crown Casino yesterday. Or perhaps more correct to say at the stuffet given the way people eat as if it will be their last meal ever.

Social distancing - none and no attempt made by anyone.

Mask wearing - few wearing in the queue to get in, once inside reasonable compliance at the buffet (this was being enforced), but those with big noses still leave the mask below the nose (what’s with this - do these people have bad breath or what - no one wants to see Nose Cleavage?).

Hand sanitising - very good compliance. Readily available and regularly used.

Was a great lunch, but I think when animal behaviour comes out everything changes.

Thank god they didn’t have lobster on offer - it would have been a riot.

That is all very well, I think, & I understand his concern, but how many ships are tied up in Australian Ports?
Surely it can't be all that difficult (just needs a bit of planning by those whose job it is to plan) to have authorised personnel at each gangplank 24/7 , one gangway per ship, 3 persons per 24 hour day, logging off & on persons who go ashore. etc. They used to be called Watchmen. It is not like they'll be checking the amount of people like it is a Footy Grand Final going through the gate..
It just needs for the authorities to get off their collective arses, put their brains into gear instead of complaining about things, ie. bigger Budgets etc. Budgets will pale into insignificance if this thing really, really gets away & history will show that in the scheme of things we actually achieved SFA 'cos we is all dead.


There must be plenty of Cardigan clad shiny arses throwing paper darts into office rubbish bins to see who can be Office Glider Champion to sort this laxness out, they just need the will to do it. Some of these offices must be awash with issued Hi viz so get them put on & get them out there.

As well as some of the not so young. & that is why Dave has an Ignore List on here. **** me, without a sense of humour we'd all probably be dead anyway. Very handy things Ignore Lists as it can work both ways if folk have that need not to read my ****. I won't know.

I think I may have said this before. I can see humour in most things/situations real or not. I'm sure most folk can but don't necessarily go into print. Anyway it tends to keep me off the streets & my keyboard rust free. One has to watch these olde Steam Driven ones. Well it is about 6 years old now.

Would definitely need a water canon to spray people down with disinfectant, an air gun to dispense masks to those without one, an infrared camera to spot people with a fever linked to an automated emergency avoidance system, and a secure lock box for the toilet paper.

You also have to be able to connect to social media all the time else you won’t know what is happening - but not - I repeat NOT using 5G.

My old mum tried to keep me off the streets but the local Hallets Pug hole always had a magical fascination & was a bit of a draw card. One could find some good **** to bring back home including a bright red/orange galv rainwater tank & usually being told to take whatever it was, back to the pug hole, we persevered but never won.

I think we were going to convert the tank into a Fort of some sort but of course it never got that far into the Planning Stage Back so she went. Rolled it home & then all the way back again. Doubt it would have got Council Approval so just as well we never spent money on it in the way of a Draw Bridge but it was a start.

Just trying to sort drinks for tomorrow & came across bottle of Italian red which appears most suitable, now to find a home in the Fridge for it but some bugger loaded it with food No evidence of slugs, slaters, spiders or Toe Nails so it could be ok..[bighmmm]
