			Went to Sandgate Medical centre, where my GP is, to find out about the jab, turns out they are not doing them now, but Brighton is. Gave me a letter to take with my details , oh good I thought, just down the road. Got to Brighton, lovely lass behind the desk, I said I wanted to put my name down for an appointment for the jab. Then she said something which I found strange. They can't make appointments because they don't know when the bottles of vaccine will be delivered , they are not being told in advance, and they only get 10 bottles at a time. So they have a list, on which names are marked in different highlight colours according to the priority level of the customer, [ 1B 70 + with health issues etc] And leave your phone no. and we'll ring you when your turn comes around. Upon questioning, the lass said they do not know the time frame between deliveries, so can not give any guarantees of how long it will take to work down the list. I believe each bottle has multiple jabs in it so that is something between 6 to 10 jabs / bottle. I'm hoping now that we are making the vaccine here , it may speed things up a bit. I know it is not the centres fault, if fault there is, and we have things fairly well under control. Thankfully.
