I would think Trading Standards/ACCC or what ever it is called up there, might have something to say about that mask thing. If they can be arsed.

I suppose by the time they shift their arses it'll be Xmas?

I mean they are probably having Coffee meetings all day to plan their Easter get together & who's turn is it to bring the Barbie, tents, Porta loo & all the other camping paraphernalia. Where & time, Eskies, ****. to meet up?

Ah Queensland, beautiful one minute, Bush ranger territory the next.

Not hopeless Harry, this one-- "For Harry, England and Saint George!" Henry the 5th. Not a bad yarn. 8 new cases in Brisbane overnight, all linked. Plus 2 still under investigation. Turns out the nurse that went to Byron, had just come back from holiday, and stood a shift at the PA hospital, but not in the COVID ward. Genome testing links her to the Doctor from the earlier cases. No unlinked cases at this time. Finally, all medical staff looking after Covid cases are vaccinated, with the first jab. Still waiting for our jabs, I think they may have gone to PNG. And good luck to them, they need it more than us A.T.M.

Actually I'm a Broncos supporter , not keen on St George.
I’m pretty sure the dinosaurs died out when they stopped gathering food and started having meetings to discuss gathering food

A bookshop is one of the only pieces of evidence we have that people are still thinking

Well, what to believe. I watched the press conference from the Qld Premier, and the CHO, at 9 o'clock. The CHO got up and said distinctly that the nurse who was infected did a night shift at the PA hospital, and investigations are still in hand on exactly how she was infected, and genome testing proved it was the strain the Dr. had . The CHO clearly said the nurse did not keep her shift in the COVID ward, but was elsewhere in the hospital. I read the latest ABC news bulletin, they clearly state the nurse was in the COVID ward. I'm sure the ABC was at the presser.

Jezuz bob. No wonder we all are mainly confoosed.

These are the people that are supposed to be on top of this problem, but jesuz they sure make it difficult. & I don't even live there.

It may be a bit of Grandstanding who is right & who is wrong.

The olde "Never let the truth...... ...........................Story.

Went for my Astra Zenica jab to day. As the nurse approached me menacingly with the Syringe She said "Just a little ***** Des".

I replied "Have you been peeking through my Bedroom Window, I was born like that, it's no biggie?"

"That is what I meant"she said.

Turns out she worked in the COVID ward on MAR.18, but has the same genome to a man who tested positive on Mar. 22. , did a shift on Mar. 23, and was not working with COVID cases that night. The 23rd is the night she was infected, [ not sure how they work that out ] So the media is saying she worked with COVID patients on Mar. 18, health experts are saying she was infected on Mar.23rd. So they are both right , apparently. Proves that it pays to get all the facts before leaping to conclusions I guess.

Queensland’s COVID-19 outbreak has grown by eight cases overnight, as millions of residents wake to their first day of a 72-hour lockdown.
As of Tuesday morning, there are now 15 cases linked to “two distinct clusters” which both emerged from the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
One of these is linked to a doctor from Princess Alexandra Hospital who was detected earlier this month, and the second is linked to the nurse who worked on the COVID-19 ward before she had been vaccinated.
She and her sister were included in Monday’s numbers

Chief health officer Jeanette Young tried to explain the clusters to reporters on Tuesday morning, but admitted even she was having trouble getting her head around it.

“The nurse worked at the PA Hospital on March 18 in the COVID ward. We now have the genome sequence result back... She has exactly the same genome to a gentleman who arrived and was treated in the PA Hospital and was tested on March 22,” chief health officer Jeanette Young said.
“She did do a shift on the night of March 23.

“My hypothesis... She has acquired the infection when at work... But I don’t know whether she got it directly from that patient, because she wasn’t working with COVID cases that night... or whether she’s got it from someone else in the hospital.

“That all has to be worked through.”
The state’s chief health officer Dr Jeannette Young said five of the new cases were related to the nurse.
“They all attended a party together down in Byron Bay,” she said
