That's enough patronising. And you missed the point. Nothing to do with Boris.[bighmmm]

Well speaking of leadership which you mentioned or a lack of it, Boris will be compared in later years with Winnie & possibly other PMs on performance, & will be found wanting & as far I can understand he has made a right old cockup of the UK's response to this National Emergency. Problem may be is that we both probably won't be around to see it.
Thousands of Dead could testify to this though.
The leadership which you are comparing with Scomo & Co, seems to be loads better than Boris's poor input.
Not for me to condemn him, history will do that but I know who my money is on.
Go on, tell me where I am wrong.[smilebigeye]
Just in as we speak. The Brexit elite cannot hope to fool us for much longer
Things could be worse....
One of the recent ideas from Boris, is everyone self-testing twice per week, for the next few years or until Fauci Flu Flies away.
Let's have a Captain Cook at how he's going to cook the books....
UK population 67 million,
TWO weekly tests each, = 104 per year, at 25 pounds EACH (2,600 Pounds per year per person)
Mulitiply THAT by how many you think will actually use their quota.... Say 60M
My calculator says 156 BILLION pounds, per year. That's 156 with 9 zeros.
The middle class won't be getting any income Tax Relief this year. Or Century. And, if they've had to borrow the money... [bigsmile] I'd be surprised if he's NOT already ordered the tests from WHERE- ever they're made.[bigwhistle][bigsad]
Give the man his due, Scomo's spend-up on Job-Keeper/Finder is not in the same league as Mop-Head.
Mop Head. [bigrolf] Good one J2
Correct me if I am wrong but didn't they give another contract for summat to his next doors or a bloke down the street, or the Pub?Quote:

May not have been a "Contract" as such, but I'm sure he said something about "Pass me the drink coaster & lend me your pen. Have I got a deal for you."? It could have also been on the back of a Fag Packet.
Isn't that what the World Bank is for, to prop up Politicians fanciful light bulb moments?
A headline caught my interest this morning, it was congratulating the UK on having 60% of the population given their first vaccination and the resulting reduction in deaths from a daily high of 1820 in mid January to "just" 26 on Monday.
Coronavirus: COVID vaccine rollout credited with Britain’s drop in cases, hospital admissions
Austraila's last Coronavirus Death was on the 19th October 2020 - that kind of puts it in perspective how well Australia has done and is continuing to do against this virus.

Australia's one of the most urbanised countries on earth, so the population density argument is a furphy. Closing the international borders early was the key decision - as an example, apparently the New York outbreak was seeded by over 1000 infected visitors, so once that goes logarithmic you've got big problems.
