Italy stopped 2.5 million astra zenca doses we all heard very loudly. "Prime Minister Scott Morrison said 3.1 million doses of COVID-19 vaccine had been blocked from importation overseas"

Not really going to be important as CSL ramps up here. I am getting another 100 for delivery next week. Fully expect the next order to double + as 2.5 million are about to come out of Broadmeadows

I hope fights and political obfuscation can shhh allowing us to get on with it as supplies ramp up.

FYI 10 doses injected 1/4 including me as a guinea pig. One person reported a low grade 12 hour fever. The rest of us noted zip which was cool with me as a four hour drive and loads of swimming fun in the sun occurred on the 2/4 for me.

I think we all keep hydrated - not sure if that is at all relevant to covid vaccines- good advice for all of us all the time of course

Sister in law works for local health district, we are a pzifer lot here, same feedback virtually no side effects when given to border force etc , i am getting tnis week apparently as frontline as such as I have volunterred to vaccinate at the local hub setup, still following masking ppe etc when doing this. One dr had come back from los angeles, said they were giving two different brands to use in the same hub, potential for error so divided the area into two halves, one vial was red and one green? So staff given red or green hats,clipboards pens etc so miminalising the mainly potential of recording the incorrect brand of vaccine given, all vials taken away and destroyed to in theory eliminate any potential for theft and refilling etc, black market stuff etc....

Interesting if correct......

Just had the Astra Zeneca, apart from the injection site being a bit sore the next day like every other vaccination, it has been pretty side effect free also.

Had my AZ and SWMBO same this morning, first day for our clinic . It pays to be a long time patient.

Daughter had Pzifer and SIL had Moderna (both in the USA) a few weeks ago. Both said they have never had a reaction to a vaccine before but did have a bit of reaction to these 2. Like being punched in the arm, bit sore for a couple of days.

Probably as some needles used are 4inch nails, some are thinner as I watch tv.
